Calming Epigenetic Immune Boosting Tips to Do at Home

The best thing you can possibly do for yourself and your loved ones at this moment in time is to get your immune system running optimally.  If you haven’t hopped on the immunity train yet, we hope you do after reading this.

The proposed coronavirus vaccine includes an RNA virus.  The vaccine may genetically modify our cells, and we don’t know how they will genetically modify us.  So if you think of how you can take control in this type of scenario, you may want to think in terms of preventing the virus from infecting the cell, blowing up, and spreading it. This requires a strong immune system.

In addition to the antiviral diet protocol, and immune boosting foods and supplements there are many things we can do to keep our immune system robust and stress levels a bit lower.  We get that time is limited, yet finding even carving out a small amount of time you will yield great results.

The objective is to keep cortisol levels low too, so before getting into the tips, you may want to check out some clips from an interview Donna recently did with Alex Howard (Founder and CEO of The Optimum Health and Conscious Life), on how stress affects the body.

LifeLine Technique

The LifeLine Technique, created by Dr. Darren Weissman, D.C., who founded The LifeLine Center, hinges on the philosophy that symptoms, stress, and disease are all ways in which our bodies are speaking to us to “wake” us up as part of a greater transformation. Processing painful emotions — as well as fear, stress, and disease — then becomes an opportunity to grow and change. This natural healing method is considered a philosophy, science, and quantum technology that connects the conscious and subconscious mind. The LifeLine Technique incorporates Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine, chiropractic philosophy, applied kinesiology, homeopathy, color therapy, sound therapy, and more.

Negative emotions like anger, anxiety, and fear increase levels of cortisol (the “death hormone”) in your body.  Just as the food you eat plays a role in determining your physical energy, your mood is shaped by the environment your thoughts create.

  • Fear weakens your adrenals and kidneys.
  • Sadness suppresses the function of your lungs and large intestine.
  • Anxiety and nervousness dampen the fire energy in your heart and small intestine.
  • Guilt and shame depress your digestive function of the pancreas and stomach.

Using emotional acupressure points, EFT allows you to stimulate energy meridians on your body by tapping on them with your fingertips. This fast, easy, and effective method of handling our emotions is destined to be one of the most powerful techniques for healing in the 21st century!

Dr. Kara Fitzgerald just did an interview with Nick Ortner, who is the CEO of The Tapping Solution, LLC.  Nick reports that: 1. Stress is at an all-time high 2. There is a daily average 45% reduction in the experience of stress after TAP exercises.  Here’s an in-depth interview they did, and some immediate tools to put to use.

This may be on any list related to calming, and there’s a reason for it.  We all could use extra sleep, especially now.  Getting enough sleep (or even catching up on it) during this time has been proven necessary in order to fight infections and also gain energy.

A high-quality home device like a Joovv uses medical-grade LEDs to shine natural red and near infrared light on your body – just like the wavelengths of light your body needs from natural sunlight, but without the heat or UV rays that cause sun damage, and without the need for sunny weather.

Red light therapy has been shown to produce a wide range of natural health benefits, like inflammation and pain relief, skin rejuvenation and collagen production, muscle recovery, boosting melatonin, improving sleep disorders, and balancing circadian rhythm.

Essential Oils

The billion dollar essential oils industry is popular for a reason – and it’s only expected to soar.  We’ve taken alot of time to research the industry thoroughly, and highly recommend 2 incredible resources.

Created by a master aromatherapist, Holly Draper, Purify Pure Essential Oils are some of the purest we’ve found on the market.  We normally do not recommend essential oils for internal use – there’s one exception however, in the event of a viral infection.

Dr. Eric Zielinski has no affiliation with any EO brands yet is known as the go-to “essential oil guy.”  He provides evidence-based education on Natural Family Living, and in his books – in fact, his most recent book, The Healing Power of Essential Oils, is an Amazon best-seller.

Easy to do at home, exercising on a mini-trampoline like the Bellicon rebounder is particularly stimulating to the immune system. It is an ideal form of exercise for all blood types because it requires so little energy but quickly rebuilds immunity. It stimulates the T-cells, which help the body fight foreign invaders. You don’t have to do a full aerobic workout on a mini-trampoline. Five minutes once or twice a day will suffice, and it’s alright to do low-impact activity.

This is Donna’s absolute favorite – and if you go direct to the company,  you will get free videos and email support (you won’t get these bonuses if you don’t go direct).

If you are not able to jump up fully, even raising your heels and keeping your toes on the surface will help. Exercise adds oxygen, a vital partner, to your system. Oxygen helps kill unfriendly bacteria and stimulates you physically and mentally. A gentle bounce on your mini-trampoline, even when you feel weak, is very valuable.

MindBodyGreen was offering free at home workouts and you can even check local yoga studios to see who may be offering free online classes.  We also like Natalie Jill’s workouts.

Quick and Easy Nutrition Tips

Here are also some easy nutrition tips to easily add as part of a immune system health regimen – just adopting one tip can provide major results, so imagine what a few of them could do!   Don’t forget to share with your loved ones too.

  • Omit these:  Stay off the gluten, dairy and refined sugar.  Carbs turn into sugar, less we forget!
  • Watch your balance:  Some people think just because they stay away from these few things that they can then eat paleo pancakes twice a day, every day.  Not true!  Remember the 80/20 rule.  The Principle of 80/20 has two concepts that aid your digestion:
    • Quantity – Overeating severely weakens your digestive system. Give your stomach room to digest your food by only filling your stomach to 80% of capacity and leaving 20% empty to help your body digest.
    • Balance of Nutrients – 80% of every meal should be land and ocean vegetables. The other 20% should be either a protein OR a grain.
  • Add in fermented foods and drinks:  this is Mother Nature’s way of providing you with unmatched probiotics to fill your inner ecology with good bacteria.  These are survival foods!   It’s simple to make your own cultured vegetables, which will give you the absolute best probiotics to fill your digestive tract, especially fermented beets.  They’re high in nitric oxide, which can eradicate certain pathogens.1
  • Get back to basics:  eat clean, whole foods – bottom line!
  • Fasting:   Some of the benefits of time-restricted feeding could be beneficial when it comes to warding off viruses (or treating an infection).  One recent study showed a decrease in inflammation.2 The body also goes through a cellular cleansing process, autophagy, which increases during a fast, allowing the body to essentially get rid of old cells and protein that the body no longer needs and new ones are created to replace them. It’s important to note that this process is something unique to fasting, and not caloric reduction.
