Ingredients
Salad:
- 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger
- 16 ounces of ribeye steak, trimmed
- 16 scallions, white parts only
- 1 red bell pepper, quartered and seeded
- 8 cups of torn salad greens
- Celtic sea salt, to taste
Dressing:
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tablespoons of wheat-free tamari
- 2 tablespoons of raw, organic apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons of olive oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of BE SweetTM Liquid or Powder, or to taste
Directions
- Preheat the grill to high.
- In a blender, combine the garlic, tamari, vinegar, olive oil, BE SweetTM, and ginger. Blend until smooth and set aside.
- Season both sides of the ribeye with sea salt.
- Grill the steak, scallions, and bell peppers for 5 minutes (Allow steaks to develop a char.) Turn. Cook 3 to 5 minutes longer.
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes, then thinly slice it against the grain.
- While the steak is resting, halve the scallions and cut the peppers into strips.
- Toss greens with dressing and arrange sliced steak on top. Garnish with the scallions and peppers.
