Never Feel Deprived Again: Sugar-Free Cinnamon Apples Recipe
If you find it hard to resist sugary treats, your inner ecosystem may be out of balance. Anyone whose inner ecology is out of balance will be driven by cravings for sugar, bread, dairy, and fruit.
There are two reasons for this:
- This insatiable appetite for sugar may come from a common overgrowth of Candida yeast, which can actually influence which foods you are attracted to.
- Sugar cravings can also be caused a nutritional deficiency. When the inner ecosystem is damaged, you are not able to properly break down food or completely absorb nutrients. Your appetite is signaling you to eat real, nutrient-dense food — and instead, you may often grab and overeat what is most convenient, which ends up being sugary treats.
The most important thing you can do to overcome sugar cravings is to eat more fermented foods, repairing and rebuilding your inner ecology. Having a healthy gut is a lifelong commitment that can bring with it a lifetime of good health, further supported by the food choices you make. The next time you feel a sugar craving coming on, feed your gut with fermented foods first and then indulge your sweet tooth with a comforting dessert made from a satisfying natural sugar alternative.
