This is a terrific book! I have read numerous books about staying healthy and reversing the aging process. This book is so full of information I have never read in any other books! I couldn't put this book down. Well written and easy to follow.

lost 10 pounds and look great1/10/13
I gave up sugars and wheat and started eating kefir and cultured vegetables. I went from 121 pounds to 111 in about 2 months. I am back in my high school clothes. I thought that the menapausal weght gain was a given. I have also not succumbed to any of the colds, viruses or flus that have plagued the rest of the office. Perhaps its the diet!

This is a great book for not only introducing the Body Ecology Diet but also a lifetime of longevity and healthy lifestyle behaviors. I have this book as well as the original BED and bought additional as gifts.

This is such an amazing book, everyone should read it. We are the ones that need to be in control of our health and not rely on meds and prescription drugs to do the job. It makes so much sense to be a healthy as you can to prevent disease.
Excellent, but with a glitch12/18/12
I also got the CDs when I ordered the book and I was annoyed at first, but then I decided to listen to them. I assume they cover much of the same material as the book, so I'm reviewing them here. I read and listen to a lot of health material, and many times it is all stuff I've heard before, but this time I learned some really good things, particularly about the workings of gut flora.
I already have the Body Ecology book and I pretty much stick to the diet, so it was great to have this additional material focused on slowing down aging. I would recommend the CDs to anyone interested in healthy longevity. Now I think I will order the Baby Boomer book from Amazon, since there seems to be a glitch in the ordering system here.
This book is full of great information. I especially loved the parts about fermented foods and probiotics. If only I had known this information about 30 years ago!

The book was informative. However I already have a basic knowledge of nutrition and how it influences one's well-being. Since I am open to new concepts, I was intrigued with the notion of earthling. Overall the book was worth reading.

I was finally able to receive the Body Ecology Guide to Growing Younger book but I had to email the contact manager on web site. Now that I have the book, I really find it excellent. I do hope that they have corrected the ordering and 800 # contact for customer service as it looks like another person (Suz from Billings MT) had the same problem. Love the book though !!
I thought I was ordering the Body Ecology Diet book but received the Growing Younger CDs. I have a 40 minute commute to work so listened to them in the car. They are facinating and very informative not only on diet, but other areas of research being done. I would like to get the diet book, but haven't figured out how yet. Each time I try I end up with the cds in my cart.
I ordered the Book "Body Ecology Guide to Growing Younger" but received the wrong item. I was sent "Growing Younger" C D's. I kept calling the only 800 given and I get no response at all. Where is the customer service? I want the book not these C D's. Even now, when I got to order the book., in its place is again the C D's. Wow, never again.

I like this book very much as I am 70 years old so I am a pre baby boomer however it is most interesting and I think I am enjoying it a little more than The Body Ecology Diet Book which I have had for many years. Thank you so much Donna.
I ordered this book along with Body Ecology, They are both excellent. What I liked about the Body Ecology Guide to Growing Younger are some of the more in depth chapters on water, exercise, and alternative options for healing and relaxation. The water chapter was really informative for me. It also had a lot of web sites for further info on finding good sources of water. Most other health books I've read usually just say drink pure water with no other suggestions.
