Today, as we celebrate Earth Day, we are reminded that caring for our planet and environment is essential for improving and maintaining our own health. Buying local and supporting organic farming provides you with the most nutritious and absorbable food.

Beets, artichokes and turmeric are all in season. And, all have a wonderful healing affect on the liver. If you can, take a trip to your local farmer’s market for some of the ingredients in today’s recipe.

Enjoy plenty fermented beverages with your meals and snacks to help your body absorb all of the nutrition form your food. InnergyBiotic just may be our most delicious way to add these essential friendly microflora to your diet.

Ingredients

Optional: Add dill, cumin or any other seasonings you may like

  1. Blend flax, artichoke, turmeric, sea salt and garlic in a Vitamix or high speed blender
  2. Stir in cultured beets
  3. Spoon onto dehydrator tray, shape into crackers, and dehydrate for 5-10 hours, depending on the texture you like.
  4. Enjoy!
