Probiotic protein chocolate chip cookie recipe (& pancakes)

People ask us all the time: What are some other ways to use the Probiotic Protein Shake, other than using it in a “shake?” If you know anything about me and The Body Ecology Diet, you know I’m a big believer in using food as medicine. The nourishing foods we eat can help the body to heal and recover. They can also set us up for a lifetime of success. But just because you’re eating a healthy and healing diet doesn’t mean you have to feel deprived in the least.

Have you tried baking with probiotic protein yet? “I use the probiotic protein powder to make gluten and sugar-free pancakes every Sunday, and nobody knows that they’re actually getting doses of gut-healthy nutrients including the best probiotics,” says Dana.

What Makes BE’s Probiotic Protein Powder so Unique?

Since animal proteins and unfermented vegan shakes are both difficult to digest, we’re lucky if we obtain 20 percent of it or a partial amount of the protein that’s on the label.  In some cases, our bodies simply do not digest protein very well, so we don’t benefit as much as we can from the absorption of the much needed vitamins and minerals.

Enter Body Ecology’s probiotic protein shake powder – a bioavailable fermented protein, which is predigested and easy for the body to use.  With fermented pea protein, all of the difficult-to-digest proteins are broken down through the fermentation process.  Having a combination of pre-digested protein and some of the most highly researched and beneficial probiotics, the benefits to the body include fostering a healthy gut and immunity – don’t forget, a HUGE amount of our immunity is in our gut!1

So here are some great ways to not only get the satisfaction you deserve,  but some various ways on how to use the Probiotic Protein Shake powder. Check out this GF pancake and cookie recipe that uses our predigested probiotic protein!

PLEASE NOTE:  If you’re on Stage 1 of the Body Ecology diet, you’ll want to refrain from eating these until you know Candida has subsided.   Yes, I would love for everyone to indulge from time to time, but just remember, indulging should take place from time to time, not on a daily basis!

If you really just want to enjoy the benefits of the shake itself, here are a few of our favorite ways to enjoy the Probiotic Protein Shake too.

Oh!  And here’s one more important note to add.  If you eat the cookies, follow them up with some Cocobiotic – it helps tremendously with the sugar conversion!

Please feel free to share if you end up creating something unique with the probiotic protein shake powder – we love to see the creativity within our awesome community!
