The number ONE most underexposed risk factor for ALL chronic gut conditions
There are over 400 million people worldwide suffering from chronic gut conditions including symptoms of bloating, painful gas, diarrhea, constipation, mixed digestive patterns and/or poor nutrient absorption.
While assessing for food sensitivities, taking pro- and prebiotics, cleaning up infections, taking digestive enzymes and healing leaky gut with supplements may be helpful, there is one silent underlying toxic exposure that is vastly underestimated in all chronic gut conditions.
Not only has toxic exposure been directly linked to IBS, inflammatory bowel disorders, dysbiosis and intestinal permeability, studies also show this toxic exposure leads to a 20 year reduction in lifespan and a dramatic increased risk of 7 out of the top 10 causes of death with high exposure.
This data, confirmed by huge studies of over 17,500 adults by the CDC and Kaiser Permanente also found that over 67% have been exposed.
Leading researchers think this was just the tip of the iceberg.
The same studies confirm that low to moderate exposure leads to a 400% increased risk of developing depression, anxiety, Alzheimer’s and Dementia – all conditions that studies show may have gut imbalances as part of their root cause.
Other studies show this toxic exposure leads to a 6-fold increased risk of diseases like Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and related illnesses, again conditions strongly correlated with gut imbalances.
The correlation of autoimmunity onset in adulthood for women and this toxic exposure is as strongly linked as smoking and lung cancer, and chronic gut health conditions are likely part of the root cause of the vast majority of autoimmune conditions!
Finally, moderate exposure leads to an almost 200% increased risk of diabetes in adults, and a 200% increased risk of infertility and menstrual abnormalities in women – again gut health has been confirmed as another contributing factor in both conditions.
So what is it? It’s NOT toxins from the environment like smoking, heavy metals or mold. It’s not exposure to EMFs, lack of exercise or a poor diet.
It’s early life stress, also known as attachment or developmental trauma.
It’s time we exposed this silent tragic epidemic.
