Basic Buckwheat Recipe
- 1 cup buckwheat
- 2 cups water
- 1 tsp. sea salt or to taste
- Soak and rinse buckwheat in strainer.
- Place water and salt in a saucepan and bring to a rapid
- Add buckwheat, reduce heat, cover, and simmer until all
the water is absorbed (approx. 15 minutes).
Variation: For a rich, nutty flavor, toast buckwheat (with
or without organic, unrefined coconut oil, ghee or butter) in a
skillet, stirring constantly, before adding to the water.
