    Hi Donna,
I have been diagnosed with Hoshimoto's. I have recently heard about Goitrogens and their effect on the Hoshimoto condition. Also, the effect of iodine is suppose to be harmful.
I have read do not eat "cruciferous veggies" " Eat them only if they are cooked" "Eat them if they are fermented". What is the BED take on all this.
    Thank you for your consideration

I had two short pregnancies in 2013 and really want to have a successful pregnancy this upcoming year. What is wrong with me ? Are my hormones out of whack? I made it to 7 weeks the first time and 8 weeks recently. I think it has something to do with my progesterone levels? At least that is what I read somewhere. What can I do to fix myself and best prepare for a preganancy that goes full term. I already have one child and he was a preemie and so these miscarriages really worry me. I wondered what protocol BE recommends for women during their pregnancies.

I have Hashimoto's and am confused about goitrogens. I have heard that femented cruciferous vegetables have a higher goitrogen concentration, I have also heard the opposite, which is true?
