Can I be a vegetarian and practice the Body Ecology Diet?

Although the Body Ecology Diet does not prohibit the consumption of animal protein, one can certainly be a vegetarian and practice the Body Ecology Diet. The diet consists of 80% vegetables, 10% Body Ecology-approved carbohydrates, and 10% protein. Eggs, kefir, and Body Ecology-approved grain-like seeds are all great sources of vegetarian protein. You may also want to try our vegan Body Ecology Fermented Protein Shakes for an extra protein boost, available here.
